Yesterday I went to see the nurse at our Doctors’ surgery to talk injections. One stab latter, anti-malaria tablet prescription clutched in my hand, I was done – most of my previous vaccinations are still valid. Suddenly it all seems real – got the tickets for our flights, our rooms are booked, and now I am bug resistant! Writing this on a freezing cold English winter day, I can’t wait…
